Fødselspsykose

Fødselspsykose er en psykose hos mor som oppstår kort tid etter fødselen. Symptomer kan være angst, søvnproblemer, forvirring, følelsesmessig ustabilitet, tristhet og fortvilelse.

Behandling av fødselspsykose innebærer ofte innleggelse i psykiatrisk institusjon og krever mye støtte, samtaler og beroligende tiltak.
