Lesbiske, bifile og transkvinner - helse og helsetjenester

De fleste lesbiske, bifile og transkvinner i Norge har like god helse som heterofile kvinner. Likevel rapporterer en større andel bifile kvinner og transkvinner dårligere selvvurdert helse. Minoritetsstress kan være en forklaring på dette. Med kunnskap om skeive kvinner og respekt og åpenhet for mangfold i seksualitet og kjønn kan fastlegen gi god støtte og helsehjelp.
