Livmorhalskreft

Hvert år får omtrent 350 norske kvinner kreft i livmorhalsen, og rundt 100 kvinner dør av sykdommen. Den eneste kjente årsaken til livmorhalskreft er infeksjon med humant papillomavirus (HPV).

Ved livmorhalskreft er det viktig å undersøke om sykdommen kan ha spredt seg.
