Lekkasje av avføring

Lekkasje av luft eller avføring kalles anal eller fekal inkontinens. Det kan skyldes forandringer i og rundt analkanalen, eventuelt svekket lukkemuskel.

Manglende kontroll over avføringen kan være et resultat av høy alder med dertil hørende svakere muskler og muskelkontroll.
