Magesårsykdom

Magesårsykdommen oppfattes i dag som en infeksjonssykdom forårsaket av bakterien Helicobacter pylori. Men 25 prosent av sårene i magesekken skyldes etsende medisiner (NSAIDs) og/eller blodfortynnende medisiner.

Magesår er sår i slimhinnen i magesekk eller øvre del av tolvfingertarmen.
