Et tretthetsbrudd oppstår som følge av en overbelastning. Oftest forekommer slike brudd i leggen eller foten.

Tretthetsbrudd forekommer oftest blant idrettsutøvere og mosjonister og er kanskje noe vanligere hos kvinner.
