Polymyalgia revmatika

Polymyalgia revmatika og temporalarteritt er to beslektede revmatiske tilstander. Polymyalgi er preget av symptomer som muskelsmerter i skulder og bekken-regionene, mens temporalisarteritt kan gi hodepine og tinningsmerter.

Polymyalgia revmatika medfører tydelig morgenstivhet, muskelsmerter, trøtthet, slapphet, feber og forhøyet blodsenkning.
