Urinveisinfeksjon hos gravide

Urinveisinfeksjon er vanligere blant gravide enn kvinner ellers. Typiske symptomer ved denne tilstanden er svie ved vannlating samt hyppig vannlating, og i noen tilfeller smerter eller ubehag over blæren.

Behandling med antibiotika virker effektivt på denne typen infeksjon. Urinveisinfeksjon hos gravide er definert som komplisert blærekatarr, og behandlingstiden er 5 til 7 dager.
