Tinnitus, øresus

Tinnitus, på norsk kalt øresus , er en støyfornemmelse som oppstår inne i øret uten at det er en ytre lydkilde eller at du er hallusinert. Tinnitus er et symptom på en underliggende tilstand.

Tinnitus er nokså vanlig. Ifølge en amerikansk studie har en av seks opplevd tinnitus.
