Cellulitt er en akutt bakterieinfeksjon i de dypere lagene av hud og underhud og som nedsetter allmenntilstanden. Cellulitter i ansikt eller hode krever sykehusinnleggelse.

Cellulitt kan utvikle seg til å bli en alvorlig infeksjon.
