Gallesteinsykdom

Gallestein dannes i galleblæra. Hos 80 prosent medfører dette ingen problemer, men for de resterende kan det føre til gallesteinsanfall og komplikasjoner som betennelse i galleblæra.

Gallestein kan gi anfall av milde til kraftige smerter i øvre høyre del av magen, eventuelt med utstråling til ryggen og gjerne opp til høyre skulder.
