Akutt betennelse i bukspyttkjertelen

En akutt betennelse i bukspyttkjertelen, akutt pankreatitt, skyldes oftest en gallestein som stenger utførselsgangen fra kjertelen. For høyt alkoholforbruk er nest vanligste årsak. En slik betennelse kan bli livstruende.

Akutt betennelse i bukspyttkjertelen er karakterisert ved smerter i øvre del av bukhulen og forhøyede verdier av bukspyttkjertelenzymer i blod og urin.
