Meniskskade i kneleddet

Meniskene er to støtdempende bruskskiver inne i kneleddene. De kan skades ved traumer eller som ledd i utviklingen av slitasje/artrose i kneet. Stikkende/skjærende knesmerter er det vanligste symptomet ved akutte skader. Ofte gir slitasjeskader i meniskene ingen plager, ellers symptomer på slitasjegikt (artrose).

Det vanligste symptomet på akutt meniskskade i kneleddet er sterke, oftest stikkende smerter i kneet - ofte lokalisert til leddspalten på innsiden av kneet.
