Plantar fasciitt (plantar hælsmerte) er hælsmerter som stråler fremover foten. Dette er en betennelse i fotsålens bindevevsplate der den fester seg til hælbenet. Tilstanden gir smerter når du tråkker ned på hælen.

Plantar fasciitt (plantar hælsmerte) er en ganske vanlig tilstand blant idrettsutøvere (løpere) og militærpersonell.
